​At 4 years old, Debbie began Irish dance lessons with her cousins. She danced competitively for 15 years, retiring from Championship level in 2001. 

Throughout her dance career, she won many awards throughout North America including a top 5 finish at the Eastern Canadian Oireachtas, and top 14 finish at the North American Nationals. She often competed overseas at the World Irish Dance Championships and All Ireland Championships. 

She has been teaching since 2009, obtained her T.C.R.G. (teaching certificate) in March 2012, and obtained her A.D.C.R.G (adjudicator certificate) in December 2017.

​She is a registered member of the Irish Dance Teachers Association of Canada - Eastern Region (I.D.T.A.C.-E), the Irish Dance Teachers Association of North America (I.D.T.A.N.A.) and An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha (C.L.R.G.) in Dublin, Ireland. She is also First Aid & CPR trained and has completed a recognized child protection course.

Casey Baillargeon, Assistant Teacher

​At 18 years old, Casey began Irish dance lessons with her aunt, Debbie. She still dances competitively and is in the Adult Championship level. 

In 2024, she placed 4th at the Eastern Canadian Regional Oireachtas in the Adult Premiere category, and made the podium. In 2025, she competed in Adult Championships and with her 4-Hand Team at the North American Irish Dance Championships in Maryland. 

She has been assistant teaching since 2023, and is so patient with young children. She is completing her grade exams to one day become a certified Irish dance teacher.

​Outside of the studio, Casey loves to snowboard, go on long walks with her dog Myles, and is a first responder and emergency dispatcher. She is First Aid & CPR trained.
